Really...for the first time in months, we Arizonans have been able to exit our air conditioned homes and venture into the great outdoors. The temperature is "only" 100 today with about 20% humidity so that's just about sweater weather for us.

Besides...maybe people have *gasps* LIVES. Things I remember the days when I too had a life: Dates, movies, bowling, parties, skating, dinner out, hiking, camping, etc. Then...I had a child. BAM! That was the end of that. LOL!

Try southern Arizona Aniewiel. We've been enjoying our monsoon season down here and it's been fairly pleasent.

If my parents weren't as old as they are and if I were not the only child left here to take care of them, you can be sure that we'd be living in Sonoita or Patagonia...maybe even Bisbee. Trust me, we spend a LOT of time in SE AZ for just what you say.

Soniota is absolutely beautiful. We have friends who live out there and we visit from time to time. Hereford is nice too.

Hereford is grand and I also LOVE Elgin.

We spent our honeymoon in the following: Bisbee at the Copper Queen, Douglas at the Gadsden and Patagonia at a nice B&B.

Best place to stay in SE AZ: The OK Street Jail. It's basically a condo-sized "B&B". It is the turn of the century jail that's been converted into a condo for people. It sleeps at least 4, has a full-sized kitchen, cable TV, computer hook up and a jacuzzi. Best part? All the bars and iron doors are still in there. Also, for your 90-100 bucks a night, you are the only 'tenants'. Beats any hotel or BnB anywhere.

Omg, I just read this and I thought it was pretty funny. But however you do have a point about having lives... I post here a lot but I'm outside a lot too.

Or some of us have significant others that hound us into doing useless and unnecessary jobs around the house on your only days off from work. The last thing I want to do is more work when it's the weekend. I just want to veg and sit at the comp all day.

The kids are always at friends houses anyways, so they don't need to be entertained, and I never had a life to begin with. Didn't need friends before and now for some reason after 40 yrs of not having any I find I have more than I know what to do with, what gives. It's a conspiracy to ruin my perfect lonely life(don't mention the wife, that doesn't count)
